The ultimate goal of Neoalia Focus Academy is helping to create a generation of regionally rooted student talents that will have the knowledge and the tools to face NEOLAiA NEOTrends from the perspective of a vertebrated European Union that takes advantage of the strengths of the regions outside the megalopolis.
Specific Goals of the Project
For the consortium
Enhancing the identity of the consortium, with its focus on approaching global problems from the perspective of the regions
For students
Triggering students’ interest and giving them the tools to cope with the NEOTrends as a way to approach global problems from the perspective of the regions.
For the regions
Counting with an international force of students and researchers that will include the perspective and the impact of NEOTrends on each specific region, facilitating the interaction across different European regions facing similar challenges.

NEOLAiA Summer School
GENERAL FEATURES:
- Each university will hold a one week Summer School focused on a given NEOTrend.
- Best period will be set after studying the academic schedule and exam period of all universities.
- In each summer school, one teacher and 2-4 students will participate from each university.
- Students will be selected based on their involvement (number of courses taken) and their performance (grades in courses taken) in NEOLAiA Focus Academy in the previous years.
NEOLAiA partner universities are implementing new projects every semester, visit us often to keep up to date!
