Description:
The NEOLAiA Focus Academy course “European Citizenship” explores the foundations and evolving meaning of European citizenship through historical, legal, and democratic perspectives. Students will examine key topics such as EU institutions, mobility, diversity, inclusion, and digital transformation while developing critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Through online learning, podcast creation, and an in-person simulation of EU decision-making, participants will deepen their understanding of European citizens’ rights and responsibilities and the challenges facing democracy in the digital age.
