Increasing the impact of our research is a core mission of NEOLAiA. As a European University we have an important role in enabling research that will have a real impact on regional development. Each NEOLAiA university brings its own distinctive strengths and areas of specialisation. Together, we believe we can truly make an impact!

NEOLAiA Research Resources and Synergies
An overview across NEOLAiA universities. By building on each other’s strengths, we will achieve more impactful research outcomes, build more collaborations and develop new projects.
NEOLAiA Expert Support Teams
Teams of staff working to support research in faculties, schools, departments, units and centers – including through scientific communication, research data management, PhD support and HRS4R experts.
Actions for NEOLAiA High-Impact Research – ESR
Early-Stage Researchers (ESR) are crucial in designing actions for high-impact research. We host dedicated ESR seminars with a focus on promoting and enhancing research quality from a regional perspective and have created an ESR-mentorship programme, open to students as well as to postdoctoral researchers from all NEOLAiA universities.
NEOLAiA Living Lab Programme
An important component to build strong collaborative research within the alliance. The objective is to develop a regional outreach-oriented approach involving regional stakeholders and partner universities.
