NEOLAiA Alliance is proud to announce its second-time participation in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) annual conference, taking place from 9 to 12 September 2025 in Gothenburg, Sweden. This year’s event is expected to welcome over 7,000 international education professionals, including representatives from more than 35 European University Alliances, making it one of the most significant gatherings of its kind in Europe.
For NEOLAiA, the EAIE conference is more than just an academic fair – it is an opportunity to come together as a united Alliance, represent shared values, and highlight the transformative power of cross-border collaboration in higher education. Following a successful debut in 2024, NEOLAiA’s return to EAIE reflects its growing visibility and continued commitment to inclusive, student-centred, and innovation-driven education.
This year again, NEOLAiA will be part of a joint exhibition booth alongside two fellow European University Alliances: INGENIUM and EU Green. Together, the three alliances will present a united front, showcasing the strength and diversity of the European Universities Initiative and offering a space for dialogue, exchange, and networking with stakeholders from across the globe.
Throughout the four-day event, all nine NEOLAiA partner universities will contribute to the Alliance’s presence. Each institution brings its own expertise and perspective, yet all share a common goal: to foster an intercultural, accessible, and forward-looking model of higher education.
Visitors to the joint booth will have the opportunity to meet with NEOLAiA representatives, discover recent accomplishments – including Focus Academy courses, joint degree programmes, and future endeavours – and learn more about how the Alliance is shaping opportunities for students, staff, and regions across Europe.
Beyond promoting achievements, NEOLAiA views EAIE 2025 as a valuable platform for strengthening relationships with peer alliances, institutions, and international partners. As European higher education continues to face global challenges, the importance of collaboration, shared learning, and strong networks has never been clearer. NEOLAiA embraces this momentum, working across borders to co-create solutions for a more inclusive and resilient future.
By participating in EAIE 2025, NEOLAiA reaffirms its mission: to empower young people, deepen regional impact, and contribute to a European university model that is open, dynamic, and meaningful.
