On August 29, 2025, Örebro University organised a NEOlife event as part of the Pride Week, bringing together 35 participants representing students, academics, civil society, parents, and politicians. The event was held at the Associations’ House in Örebro.
The agenda featured a series of insightful lectures:

The discussions ranged from the history of trans activism and integration in workplaces to the fascinating question of whether there are queer animals – the answer is yes!
The event highlighted the importance of visibility, inclusion, and knowledge-sharing while also celebrating the positive experiences and resilience of minority communities.
With strong engagement and inspiring perspectives, the NEOlife event demonstrated how academia and society can work together to foster equality and understanding.
