On 7th and 8th of October, the meeting of the NEOLAiA Student Advisory Group (SAG), the alliance of European universities, will take place at the University of Jaén (Spain). This meeting brings together student representatives from different member universities of the network to discuss key topics related to student involvement in the Alliance’s decision-making processes.
The Student Advisory Group is a fundamental body that allows NEOLAiA students to actively participate in defining policies, mobility programs and cultural and academic activities that promote cooperation and exchange between European universities. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include enhancing internationalization opportunities, promoting inclusion and sustainability in future projects, and developing new initiatives to strengthen the educational experience of students.
The meeting in Jaén is an important step towards consolidating the role of students in the development of NEOLAiA and provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and proposals that will drive forward the strategic vision of the Alliance.
During most of the event, the SAG will hold internal meetings, but on May 8 from 12:30 to 14:30, an event will be organized for the entire student community. There will be a live radio program with NEOLAiA students in front of the library. At the same time, several tables will be staffed by other SAG members who will provide information about their universities and the opportunities NEOLAiA offers for students (Bachelor, Master and PhD students).
If you are available and interested, we invite you to attend. You will have the opportunity to meet students from other universities, ask the SAG about their functions and meetings, practice speaking English and learn more about the Alliance.
