Reflecting on Success Factors and Challenges in Building a European University Alliance.
On November 20, 2025, NEOLAiA representatives Renáta Tomášková and Tomáš Drobík (University of Ostrava), Michaela Vogt (Bielefeld University) and Ida Andersson Norrie (Örebro University) participated in the Central European Conference on Internationalisation of Higher Education CEEDUCON, held in Prague, Czechia. The event gathered experts and leaders in global engagement to explore how higher education institutions can shape sustainable and inclusive international cooperation.
A Panel Focused on Shared Progress and Future Opportunities
The NEOLAiA delegation hosted a panel discussion titled “Success Factors and Challenges in Building a European University Alliance: Reflecting on Diverse Ways to Reach Joint Goals and Achieve Impact”.
As NEOLAiA marks four years of active collaboration, the session offered a moment to pause and reflect. Panellists shared examples of how the alliance has contributed to lasting transformation within their institutions, both through academic innovation and the strengthening of professional communities across borders.
